在一个老一点的采访中JW说他们计划做一个相对简单的游戏。我理解这是一种对于那些从来没有玩过前作并且有可能在在游戏的困难面前知难而退的新玩家的体贴。如果老玩家――那些玩DI DII长达上千个小时的老玩家,可以有不同的游戏构架和HC模式,或者是其他不同的东西,将是极好的。

我的想法是为那些老玩家们添加一种作为分离下线(SC&HC都行,拥有他们自己的运作方式)的精英模式(或者困难模式),这种模式会比标准模式难很多而且在之后的任务完成中要求团队合作。这对于那些觉得DI DII DIILoD太简单的人来讲,在DIII中加入这种将一切变得困难的模式将会是一个极限的挑战,甚至是不可能的挑战。


我们没有寻求将游戏变得更加简单,我们打算令D3普通模式的难度大致与D2普通模式的难度持平.D3开始会很容易,无论一个人之前有没有玩过游戏,他应该都可以很容易的进入游戏,然后用鼠标点击怪物,之后杀死它们.

然后会有更困难的模式解禁,游戏会强迫你从“初学者”进入“熟练工”。

实际上在DII后期将游戏变得异常困难的原因通常是那些bugs或者是游戏设计和平衡上的问题,所以我们很难比较那些前期的困难和后期的困难――那几乎是一个全新的游戏。总之,我们没有计划将游戏变得“更简单”。我们只是说我们试图在正常模式中寻求一个(和DII)相类似的困难等级。

游戏极有可能不会要求多人玩家以完成游戏进程。

In one of older interviews Jay Wilson said they are planning to make the game relatively easy. I understand it's a nod towards new players who never tried former episodes and they could become discouraged with difficulty level. It would be fantastic if older veteran players, who played D1/2 for thousands hours, trying various builds and HC mode, got something as well.

My idea is to add Elite Mode (or Advanced Mode) for veteran players as a separate sub-realm (both SC & HC; having its own economy) which would be much harder compared to standard mode and required team play to finish later quests. It would be an ultimate challenge for those who think D1/D2/D2LoD were too easy and adding such a mode to D3 would make things much harder, even close to impossible.
We aren't looking to make the game any easier, we're shooting for Diablo II difficulty more or less for normal. It's an easy ramp up, pretty much anyone regardless of if they've ever played a game before or not can get in and start clicking on monsters and kill them with little trouble.

Then you have the new difficulty levels that unlock, and the game really forces you to move beyond the \"easy to learn\" portion and into the \"difficult to master\".

Actually some of the things that made/make Diablo II extremely difficult later on are usually due to bugs or design/balance issues, so it's hard to compare overall difficulty at those later difficulties with a completely new game. But in short, no, we're not planning on the game being any \"easier\". We've only said that we're shooting for a similar difficulty ramp in normal mode.

There are currently no plans to require more than one person to complete any areas of the game.

我们没有寻求将DII(这里不是笔误......)变得比正常情况更加简单或困难,几乎没有人担心(在乎)那些从来没有玩过游戏的人能不能开始游戏并且点击怪物以――可能会有一些小麻烦――杀死他们(把脸伸过来.拍拍拍...)。
