PVP in Diablo has always been a symbol of high-end gameplay, but it has been relatively exclusive. In order to lower the barrier and allow more players to experience the joy of PVP and share the excitement of the game, we are hosting the 9th Level PVP Competition.

**Registration Method**


The competition will accept forum registrations starting from noon on March 29th and ending at midnight on April 15th. The registration post time will be based on the forum post.

**Format and Schedule**


The competition will be divided into 2 weeks, with the 1st week being the regular season and the 2nd week being the playoffs.


**Regular Season**


- The regular season is scheduled to begin after the draw on April 20th, Beijing time.
- After the registration deadline, the competition committee will use software to determine the match list. Each player will contact their opponent to schedule the match time. Once the match is completed, both sides will report the results to the referee. In case of disputes, the referee will intervene for a rematch.
- The regular season format is best of three.


**Playoffs**


- The playoffs are scheduled to begin on Saturday, April 27th, at 7:00 pm Beijing time.
- After the regular season ends, the top 8 players based on final points will compete for the season championship.
- The 8 players in the playoffs will be randomly drawn for the quarterfinals, semifinals, and third-place match, all of which will be best of five. The final match will be best of seven.
- All 8 players entering the playoffs will receive high rune rewards based on their final ranking.


**Competition Rewards**


Rune Reward Plan:


Non-Ladder Rune Jah(31#)


Regular Season Rewards: Each winning player in each match will receive 5Jah rewards, which can accumulate.


Playoffs Rewards: The top 8 players in the playoffs will receive the following rewards based on their final ranking: Champion 80 Jah / Runner-up 60Jah/ Third and Fourth place 40Jah / 5th-8th place 20Jah.


**Cain Forum Medals and Forum Rune Reward Plan:**


All participating players will receive 100 forum rune rewards from Cain Forum after completing all matches in this league.


The top 8 players entering the playoffs will receive an additional 200 forum rune rewards from Cain Forum.


The final Champion, Runner-up, and Third-place players will receive additional 600/400/300 forum runes from Cain Forum.


Medal Reward Plan: To be determined, based on forum administrator applications.


**Competition Rules**


1. **Match Rules:**


1.1 Participants must have a D2r Season 6 ladder character with a level of 9. Characters that do not meet the requirements will be disqualified.


1.2 There are no restrictions on whether the participating characters have completed the game or their equipment.


1.3 The match location is the Inner Cloister of Act 1 on Normal difficulty. Before the match starts, all monsters and dropped items in the area should be cleared. During the match, participants must not leave the Inner Cloister.


1.4 No potions of any kind are allowed during the match (including all levels of healing potions, mana potions, stamina potions, antidote potions, thawing potions, rejuvenation potions, and full rejuvenation potions, as well as any fountains in the area).


1.5 Each match lasts for 5 minutes. If there is no winner after 5 minutes, it is considered a draw, and each side receives one point. If both sides are defeated (without a clear order of defeat), it is considered a draw, and each side receives one point.


1.6 Once both sides are ready, they should type "1" in the game chat to indicate readiness. If there is no referee, the match starts immediately after both sides type "1". If there is a referee, the match starts after the referee says "go". After a round is decided, the referee says "KO" to end the match and announce the score.


1.7 During the match, participants must not speak until the end of the round. In case of special circumstances requiring an interruption, the referee will say "p" to pause the match, and participants can speak.


1.8 Unless approved in advance and agreed upon by the opponent and the organizing committee, all matches should take place on the Asia server's Korea node. Participants should prepare their own accelerators. If a disconnection occurs during the match, the participant is considered defeated. If the disconnected player does not return within 5 minutes, they are considered defeated on the spot.


2. **Referee Rules:**


2.1 No referees are assigned for the regular season. The two teams will arrange the match time themselves and complete the match before April 26th, Beijing time.


2.2 Each match in the playoffs will have a referee, who must be a level 60 or above sorceress. All parties must not be hostile towards the referee.


2.3 The referee has the right to advance the match according to the rules and determine the outcome. When a referee is present, participants must follow the referee's instructions under any circumstances.


2.4 If a player disagrees with the referee's decision, they can post on the forum after the match to request arbitration from the organizing committee.


3. **Video Recording Rules:**


3.1 All matches encourage participants to record their own gameplay and upload it on the forum.


3.2 In case of disputes requiring arbitration, the organizing committee will judge based on the match videos. If one party cannot provide video evidence, it will be considered that they are unable to provide evidence, and the opponent's video evidence will be used for judgment.


4. **Competition Rules:**


4.1 All players are not allowed to use mercenaries.


4.2 If a player voluntarily leaves the battlefield or stops actively attacking for more than 10 seconds, they will be considered defeated.


4.3 Excessive tactics will result in a loss, including but not limited to:
   - a. Actively using houses and corners to avoid attacks for more than 3 seconds.
   - b. Constantly running around the area for more than 10 seconds.


4.4 All classes are prohibited from summoning creatures that require the use of corpses.


4.5 Players are allowed to use ethereal equipment and repair their equipment once or change to other equipment from the stash before each match.


4.6 Players are allowed to carry any items except potions in their inventory. Horadric Cube is allowed in the inventory, but no potions should be placed inside the Horadric Cube.
